High Quality Product

This paired with the matching male part creates a very nice product. This is my first experience with a quick disconnect. They are fairly expensive but the quality is superb. No leaks thus far. The disconnect mechanism is a bit stiff at first but if you connect and disconnect several times before installing, it becomes easier. The design is very intuitive. The female part has a spike which pushes the male part inward to allow water to flow when they are both connected. I have not tried to disconnect from the loop but there are no leaks. I purchased 2 sets of disconnects each with a pair of compression fittings for both sides of each disconnect set. I cut tubing in the middle and installed these there. Do note that it seems that these cannot be installed directly to watercooling parts such as a radiator, pump, waterblock, etc. They need to be installed midway onto tubing with the tubing connecting in the middle to connect 2 components. Overall, great high quality product. This will make replacing my water pump MUCH easier when it eventually fails (like water pumps do..).
