Well, it does what it does.
Well, intentionally, trying to get this thing in a micro ATX build, and... it fits and whatnot in a corsair 350d, but... Custom water cooling loop, which mcp355 variable speed pump? a lot of tangled up cables, etc. there was little place to put it but it fits perfectly inside that case, and remains unused for the time being. This thing is bright... It''s nice. |

ABSOLUTELY Do not buy these....
Misleading title is misleading. Also, these monsoon fittings are amazing, I would recommend these 10/10 would buy again, if only they handle stiff tubing. I bought stiff tubing for performance reasons (seperate review on that tubing in particular) but with this tubing and these fittings, no matter how hard I tightened these with the tubing I used, it would eventually pop out if I left it at an angle. That''s why my reservoir is hanging from my wall. Also, I had to change the natural bend of the tubing (by boiling water and soaking the tubing, and then setting a bend by holding it in place with out kinking it,) in order to get these fittings to work accordingly. Anywho, do not use these fittings with stiff tubing and tight fits, the tubing will fall out eventually if left at a tight angle. Small details like these are important.
OTHERWIRSE, these fittings are amazing. I plan on using these same exact fittings when I do a full tower or mid tower case build. |

Well, it does what it does.
Well, it does what it''s supposed to, but not entirely if you gotta make shift the density (or wraps per inch or however you''d like to calculate it,) into spots where angles are tight. I.e., in my current build, I had to make a very dense amount of anti-kink in spots where I tested really right angles with the tubing I used. (this stuff is amazing with stiff tubing.) Otherwise, this stuff works. |

Buy it... don''t hesitate...
Just, don''t use too much thermal paste. That was an oops on my part. I added the correct amount of thermal paste (don''t spread it... at all.) This water block under extensive load, kept it belowe 46 degrees celcius... and being me, that''s more than comforting for me. I try to keep all my temperatures below 50. Preferably 40 and even then, that performs almost very well but under medium load (gaming wise.)
As said, dont hesitate buying this. It performs amazingly. |

I think they sent me the wrong fittings.
What I mean is, I got the half inch 3/4 tubing but, they send like, 5/8 id and 7/8 outer... Im not sure but I cant fully tighten my compression fittings (these ones.) but anywho, be careful when you tighten these, they hurt if you put too much force INTO tightening them for hand tightening. My fingers hurt for a week because of the textured feeling. However, these fittings are amazing when it comes to using non-angled fittings. I''m I got these ones anyways. 10/10, would use in a future build. |
