The Innovatek HPPS Plus 12V pump (based on the Eheim) is the upgraded and improved flagship pump from Innovatek. It is an power boost and performance upgrade upon the design of the original HPPS 12V Pump that has been used and relied upon by the thousands. The 20% improvement in the pump's discharge head puts it at an impressive 2.05 meters (6.7 feet). Even with the power increase it still only consumes 3 Watts of power to operate.
This pump is designed for use with Innovatek cpu blocks and reservoirs. The Innovatek Plug-On Reservoirs are designed to mate with this pump with no extra parts.
Special Operating Modes:
The HPPS Plus has several operating modes for specialists and special applications besides the normal mode it is set to when the pump is delivered (6.7 foot discharge head).
NOTE: The normal mode is more than sufficient for 99% of the users. Innovatek added the other two special modes for advanced users with special applications.
Changing the modes will VOID THE WARRANTY. To change the mode - pull off the blue end cap, extract the control board and move the jumpers to the setting you want to use.
It features a "Silent" and a "Power" mode.
Silent Mode: In Silent Mode the microprocessor in the pump changes the operating instructions the pump's drive so the pump becomes completely "inaudible". The pump however loses some pumping performance (5.4 foot discharge head - which is still more than sufficient.)
Power Mode:In Power Mode the pump's microprocessor boosts the maximum operating voltage to bring the discharge head closer to 13 feet and looks independently for the maximum possible operating point! The pump will no longer be very quiet, but the performance increase is signifcant.
Normal Mode (delivery condition): This is the compromise between maximum performance and minimum noise. This is generally the optimal operating condition in normal water cooling systems - the pump is almost inaudible and still has extreme performance (6.7 foot discharge head).
Warning: Use of fluids other than the Innovatek Protect family is not recommended. Innovatek will not RMA defective products that have used alternative fluids, including UV Dyes. Do not use alcohol based cleaners on innovatek products.
Did you know?
The innovatek Protect Products are the only licensed corrosion protection fluids in the PC-field that are officially approved by EHEIM for their pumps. Why take risks? Be save and trust the specialists!

I have been using this pump for about 4-5 months now. It has been perfect, nice and quiet operation. The pump body is filled with a kind of insulation material that contains the pump and provides noise blocking and protection from shock and the elements. Vibration is decent for its power however, I would recommend the dampening bracket kit (separate purchase) to attach the pump to your case, it makes a huge difference. In addition, you can pull out the PCB and connect the pump directly to the Innovatek controller (separate purchase) with the wires included with the controller. I believe the PCB board only provides voltage control and speed control but I am not positive (the Innovatek controller assume responsibility of these tasks). The controller does a great job at controlling this pump without harsh starts and stops. Be sure to get the proper hose attachments. The top one (output) comes with it but the side one (input) does not. This is because this pump was primarily designed to be attached directly to a reservoir. It would have been nice if Innovatek included a fitting for the side. The pump also easily slides off the base place (maybe a little too easily). The red pump model is not much more money but still not worth the cost. It uses double the wattage when the blue model is more than you will ever need for a single LARGE loop. I have a dual 80mm rad, going to CPU block, voltage reg block, north bridge/south bridge combo block, four Koolance RAM blocks, and two DD GPU water block, to a quad 120mm rad, to res and back to pump. The pump is running at 1/3 speed with easy 95 degree F water temps (after all blocks and before the quad 120mm rad!) with system overclocked 35% (Q9650 quad core) at full CPU and GPU load! (2x GTX280 BFG water cooled model). Tubing is ID 3/8”. If this pump can easily handle this load at only 1/3 then is will handle anything that you will ever have to throw at it.
One more thing...

This pump can also be mounted on its side to give more flexibility with tubing positions.
Great purchase.

Hell of a pump. Super quiet and has a great even flow rate. The only pumps I will ever purchase!
Best ever

This is the best water pump for water cooling pc''s. Magnificient piece of German engineering. It''s very powerful yet literally silent even in "normal" mode. My computer doesn''t have a single fan on it. My HDD''s are also isolated from noise by "quite drives" I cant hear any noise from the pump even in this "silent" system. That pump is fantastic.
