The HEATKILLER Rev3.0 CPU sets new standards in performance, quality and ease of installation. The development of new high-end CPU coolers has been consistently focused on the current CPU generation.
A central flow, coupled with a nozzle plate and a very fine Kühlgeometrie give the cooler a excellent cooling performance. The bottom plate can geometrically adapted to the heat spreader and thus provides for an optimal contact to the CPU.Trotz very expensive Kühlgeometrie the flow resistance is extremely low. For the use of quad-processors, the cooler has a plug-distribution plate, the individual CPU cores will flow parallel thereby.
A modular design allows easy opening of the HEATKILLER, a switch to a different mounting system is done at any time and with very little effort. Sold separately, mounts and spare parts guarantee, even after several years, problem-free operation.
The base, and the uppers are made of high-purity copper, the mounting and application of polished stainless steel. To prevent tarnishing of the copper, the top is sealed with a special clear lacquer.
Warning: Compression fittings can be used up to 1/2" OD without conflict. Larger sized compression fittings require 45° adapters!

Great block!, poor mounting.12-28-2011

The block itself performs really well and I would highly recommend it. My issue is with the mounting design. It uses stand-offs on the top of the board that are held in place by nuts on the bottom of the board. they should have used reverse thread on this desigen because as I tried to loosen the screws to remove the block, the standoffs started to loosen and the nut came off the back so I had to remove the the whole motherboard to re-attach the standoff (removing the motherboard is not quick or easy with a dual loop setup on cpu and 2 gpus) it was long frustrating process. I would recommend buying this block but do yourself a favor and spend the extra $10 on the backplate (Part #: ex-blc-778).
