Virtual-Hideout.net was so pleased with this power supply that they gave it a 10 out 10. Now we are pleased to introduce the Virtual-Hideout.net Special Edition of our favorite PC Power Supply Tester. With an all new brushed metal themed packaging and a new logo on the power supply tester as well, it is a beautified version of the best computer power supply tester on the market! We are all proud to have this tester bear our names.
The FrozenCPU Virtual-Hideout.net Special Edition ATX 2.0 Power Supply Tester displays the condition of your power supply unit.
Simply plug the tester into your power supply's 24 pin molex connector and the built in LEDs will give a basic diagnostic of your power supply. If all of the green LED's light up and it beeps, then the power is OK. If a LED doesn't light up, then there is a malfunction in the power supply and it is highly recommended to stop use of it.
This Power Supply Tester can test 20-pin power supplies - please see photo on right demonstrating this ability.
Note: Newer 24-pin power supplies often do not supply the -5V line anymore since it is no longer needed by modern motherboards. If your power supply tester's -5V LED doesn't light up with a 24-pin power supply, it is not an error. The power supply is functioning properly.

I was trying to trouble shoot my system and see if my PSu was going bad. I was getting small brown outs while under heavy game load with a certain Game ( L4D2 ) so I thought my PSU was going. Turns out I found this little guy and it proved me wrong. I would highly recommend this little guy because it has all required LEDS that light up and has the procedure for testing printed right on it. Worked like a charm and told me my PSU was still going strong. JUST REMEMBER!!! Newer PSU''s will not light the -5V up... So no worries.

it works, but if u have the money get it with a LCD screen because if u have a fluctuated voltage level this testers will green light you either way. If you have the extra money get the LCD one

This little jewel is worth it''s weight in gold for a basic IT bench.
We bought a pair of them and they paid for themselves within an hour.
Everything you need and nothing you don''t for $15? Hard to beat.
